A Discussion of Our Mystical
Beliefs and Modern Experiences

Religious
leaders, and many artists, writers, scientists and other transformers of
consciousness had in their lives what are described as mystical experiences,
i.e. a transpersonal communication with something beyond their human self.
Following a brief introduction about mysticism, participants will be invited to
share beliefs, ideas and personal experiences that felt transpersonal or life changing.
I believe
that the capacity for mystical experiences is natural to any human being. Over
the centuries, this innate ability had become suppressed. Since the late 1800’s
a renaissance of mysticism and mystical experiences has reawakened
exponentially. It truly is a transformational movement in consciousness from
the fear of losing one’s mind to truly coming into all of one’s senses.
NANCY ROSE SOUTHERN, MSW, All Faiths Minister, Creative Life Coach has had what she calls mystical
communications, since early childhood. These experiences led her to a life long
inquiry into what she experienced and why. Inspired by the lives of performers,
poets, artists, scientists and spiritual leaders who also had these types of
experiences, her life’s work has evolved into using universal spiritual and
creative principles to empower others to open to their own inner guidance
system. In doing so, they make the world a better place for all of us.
