BIONS DECEMBER EVENT
In honor of the end of the Mayan Calendar on 21 December 2012, and the coming of the Golden Age, BIONS is not meeting on December 20th. Hopefully we will see you in your dreams!
The Night before Solstice
'Tis the night before Solstice, when all through the house
Not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse
The predictions of Mayans thought thoroughly through,
We pray now that they will come true
Humanity is nestled all snug in their beds
With visions of angels and peace in their heads
We've all gone to sleep, aware of life's tragic
And are dreaming anew, including some magic
Then out on the lawn are sounds of loud chatter
We spring from our beds to see what is the matter.
Away to the window we fly like a flash
Tear open the shutters and throw up the sash
The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow
Gives the luster of mid-day to objects below
When, what to our wondering eyes should appear,
But thousands of ETs, arms raised in good cheer!
"It's time for a change" they all shout together
We are rising up, unified forever
The Golden Age is beginning, Oh happy day
And our illustrious guides are leading our way!
Our next meeting will be January 17th, the 3rd Thursday in January. We'll send out the announcement in late December.
