roadmap to help community leaders and activists see how we can replace the jail
industry business model in Whatcom County with a healing economy that thrives
on cooperation and empowerment.
Interrupting the Downward Spiral of Mass Incarceration in Our
County
“Harnessing the power
of intentional change”
Why dig into the dark side of the business model?
Identifying the socio-economic-civic addiction
Discovering the ‘Societal Intercept Model’
Addressing the trauma of leadership failure
Seeing the emerging trends and opportunities
Attendees will see the intersections of 3rd
dimensional business models with multi-dimensional models of intentional
leadership. The tools they use help us all
cross bridges and gaps in knowledge to understand how we can work together to
maximize and synergize human potential in the emergent economy.
Irene Morgan owns
Self-Empowerment Services, a spiritual counseling and therapy practice. Irene founded the Restorative Community
Coalition in 2006 to help the community recover from mass incarceration fallout
and to start doing interventions for people who have been impacted by an arrest
and dislocation. A non-profit volunteer
for over 30 years, and an entrepreneur all her life, Irene is the author of
"the Joyous Discovery of Self" a personal training video/workbook
that is intercepts and transforms addictions and copied learned behavior into
success strategies.
